A few possibilities: Here's the list of what we think about with knee pain in that area: Could be as simple as a baker's cyst or bursitis, tendonitis, or muscle strain. Less likely would be meniscal / tendon tear. If it's getting worse or persisting for awhile, I'd recommend taking a week or two off from running and soccer. Hope this helps
