Ovarian cyst: This 31 yo female presented with incidental 9cm ovarian cyst at post confirmation of IUD placement . The placement of IUD usually does not require prior ultrasound and it will be good to known why scan was done and the date. It certainly will be unusual for a cyst to grow to 9cm in just 6week and may have started for some time. You may need to discuss laproscopic cyst removal with your doctor
