What causes a person that wakes up on their back to go dizzy before being able to move. i currently at times wake up on my back and everything spins?

Vertigo: This could be due to benign positional vertigo. "Crystals" in the inner ear are out of place and cause this sensation in certain positions. You should have it checked by a physician however to confirm that this is what is cause of your symptoms. There is simple test that can be done in the office which can help with the diagnosis.
