Should: Nicotine and its metabolites usually clear out in about 10 days. Do not take replacement nicotine gum or patches and do not expose yourself to passive smoke. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

Smoking: Congratulations on becoming smoke free! Keep at it. Your diet needs to contain protein, good fats, and carbs. Fruits and vegetables are not enough. Please ask your doc or see a nutritionist. Eggs are good for protein, olive oil and coconut oil good for fats, and carbs are in the vegetables. Peace and good health.
