A member asked:

Can i use naproxen to get rid of a urine infection?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Urine infection: naproxen is an anti inflammatory medication. urinary tract infections are usually caused by bacteria or sometimes an STD. If your symptoms are mild, increase fluid can treat the infection otherwise an antibiotic is indicated but after a urinalysis and culture. If it stings to urinate the naproxen may help there but not "cur" you but allow you to drink more. STD can only be treated medically.
