Confirm intrauterine: Pregnancy at 4 weeks can followed with minor discomfort due to growth of uterine ligaments. In view of the hip pain, it will be prudent to confirm intrauterine pregnancy with the following; 1. Quantitative hcg and repeat after 48 hours to check for normal rise. 2. Get a transvaginal ultrasound to confirm location of the pregnancy. If all the above are normal, you can be rest assured. Good luck.
