Cerebritis: Lulus cerebritis is a condition whereby cognition is affected wihout evidence of structural changes on mri. It is poorly understood and it is not a vasculitis.

More common: Neurocognitive problems are more common than previous thought in lupus patients. Discuss with your rheumatologist to have neurocognitive testing to better define the problem.

I have pain over my right eye, my nose and my forehead, I am also feeling disoriented. I have never had any sinus problems. I do have lupus, high blood pressure and have had heart bypass in the past. It even hurts when i put on my glasses.
Could lupus cause cognitive issues? Im having issues with my speech. Its getting harder to get words out and express my thoughts out loud. Recalling information is getting harder, brain fog, trouble concentrating, and repeating words in my head.
