Absolutely : Extremely common in elderly that are very sensitive to benzodiazepines, also higher risk when used along other pain meds, muscle relaxants, alcohol, etc.

Depending upon amount ingested, a benzodiazepine can indeed induce hallucinations. Although elderly more sensitive, younger people can experience indiosyncratic reactions. Contact your doctor as modification is needed.
