A member asked:

Hi i am a smoker but decided to stop because every time i smoke the back of my throat would flare up and cause me pain and goes away after a day. even if it's one cigarette it would irritate the back of my throat near my tonsils. what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Quit smoking!: There is nothing good about smoking....so use your head wisely and quit smoking permanently. You will live a better life and leave your doctors happier with one less patient to worry about. Smoking is a form of slow suicide....so give it up!!
