Possible heart burn: Burning in left upper abdomen could indicate heart burn. Avoidance of fatty and spicy food and trying a medicine for heart burn like Zantac or Prilosec could help. If it doesn't help other causes could be shingles, breast pain from bra, other breast pathology and many other things which you should see a doctor for
