Dermatologist: If large it will be numbed with a tiny needle. If small, no anesthetic is needed. Then it is quickly and easily snipped off. Usually ferric subsulfate solutiion is used to stop bleeding. No stitches or dressings. Small scab heals in 5 to 7 days. OK to shower or swim.
