Can you die from head lice? i've had it for at least 3 years now. also how can i get rid of them fast?

No...: Head lice are not going to kill you.There are many medicated antipesticide hair treatments that you can use that are very effective; however, you have to be diligent about removing the nits/eggs or you will just end up with new live lice in a few days. Then sterilize the environment. This is not usually an issue that goes on for years - see your doctor to confirm diagnosis! May be something else

I would advise you that treat yourself and any other family or household members as well just to ensure that you don't keep spreading from person to person. You could speak to a Lice Nurse that could come to your home and show you how to remove the lice and their eggs (nits). There are lots of lice removing shampoos, ask the pharmacist.
