Stress: Stress may be an aggravating factor in the development of coronary artery disease. In some states the development of coronary artery disease or hypertension in firefighters and policemen is considered a line of duty disease without any questions. Other factors like smoking, high cholesterol, family history, high blood pressure also play a big role in the development of coronary artery disease.
