Is having an itchy head common after a getting head hit someone threw a small ball at me and days later felt itchy.

Itchy scalp: I cannot say that a small ball to the head would normally cause itchiness. A possible explanation if there is swelling in the area is the skin pulling secondary to the inflammation or irritation. Do you see a rash? Not likely head lice or such.
