Yes: Yes you can. Frequently, a conjunctivitis makes the adjacent eyelid structure red from a shared and increased blood flow caused by the inflammation. If the inflammation has an allergic component, the itching causes rubbing, which can cause redness as can the release of histamine seen in these conditions.
