The water system in my state tested positive for naegleria fowleri aomeba. this isn't the first time. is it risky to shower without a nose clip?

Stop worrying: The bug is part of the natural environment. If you are not on immunosuppressive drugs and do not get a massive exposure swimming in a farm pond and getting the water up your nose, relax and enjoy your shower. If you obsess about harmless microbes, you'll make both yourself and other people miserable. Basic hygiene and common sense is all that's required. Best wishes.
