Ice lady commeth.: The general procedure used for dealing with the initial injury is ice application. This is included in the RICE protocol for immediate care. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation. The injured area was not given so you will need to adjust the protocol to fit your needs. To remove all doubt, obtain advice from a professional.
