A member asked:

Why do my children 3,5yo & 11mos chewing when sleeping? sometime snore and choking too... is it dangerous? how to fix it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Young children chewing is usually not dangerous; snoring is sometimes dangerous if heavy snoring or frequent snoring; and choking is usually dangerous. So, how does a parent describe such symptoms? The best way is to record on video symptoms to show the doctor (and also record what happens when Mom moves each child's head to another position). The ER can help if any really dangerous symptoms.
