Snoring means a : sleep study is needed to diagnose sleep apnea, which can cause mild-moderate inattention & hyperactivity or exacerbate true ADHD. Primary enuresis, never having had 6 mos. of dryness, is normal thru age 5 but persists in 11% of kids with ADHD. A first-voided urinalysis to rule out medical causes is needed. 50% of all kids age 3-10 sleep-talk; 10% do it > 3 times/ wk. No treatment is needed.

Yes: I've seen kids misdiagnosed as ADHD, when in fact they had sleep apnea. In children when they are sleep deprived, they often will "push through it", resembling an ADHD-type picture. Does he have large tonsils? Since he snores, and is sleep talking (could be a sign of sleep deprivation and high stage III pressure) I would recommend a sleep study to evaluate for possible OSA. Good luck.
