Migraines : Headaches work better than others from person to person. Be sure to see your MD to get a neurologic exam if headaches are new, wake you from sleep or only on 1 side. Also see your eyeMD. Gabapentin for migra: Gabapentin is not indicated for migraines as the mechanism for migraine is very different than for a nerve related pain (especially damaged nerves). If you are taking gabapentin for a pinched nerve in your neck, the neck pain would lead to headaches at the base of the skull in the back. That is due to muscle spasms. Regular exercise will help a lot.
