Medication: In pregnancy mostly feel safer to just prescribe Acetaminophen which is the safest but least potent pain killer. Second choice will be Ibuprofen (motrin) try the least dose to begin. Narcotics also are safe but not near the end of pregnancy. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21656212.
