Probably better way: Metoprolol should not be causing itching. Hydroxyzine is a prescription medication as well. Need to find out what is really causing the itching. Since it is a heart medication do not stop taking it without your prescribers approval. Cant help more need additional info. Go to ER,or Urgent Care. Could develop into more serious problem if not treated properly.
