Embryo transfer: You didn't mention the development of the embryo (day 3 or day 5). We presume implantation takes place within 48 - 72 hours of the transfer but you won't detect any pregnancy hormones until 7 - 12 days after the transfer. Smoking anytime while trying to get pregnant and after a transfer isn't good and may cause contractions of the uterus or tubes. Still, embryo quality beats all.
