You can close: your computer and proceed directly to your local UC clinic or make an appointment with your PCP. If not allergic, use Advil or Aleve for pain and swelling until seen.

Toe: depends. Did you injure the toe? Rednes? Evidence for ingrown toenail?

Sore toe: If the pain lasts for more than a week you may need to see a Podiatrist. You could have a fracture, ingrown toenail, or even gout, just to name a few possibilities

Not toe-tally clear.: A 50 year old female will, more than likely, have a different reason for a sore toe than, let's say, a 16 year old male. Because of this, your best bet is to consult with a specialist and let his experience offer you some ideas as to the cause and treatment.

Depends: It depends on the specific cause of your pain, of which there are multiple potential causes. Don't hesitate to see a specialist to determine the specific cause of your pain and the treatment options available.
