Return to doctor: Chlamydia is not a likely cause of "sore urethra" and for sure HIV doesn't do this. Heterosexually transmitted HIV is more rare than you might think from the media; the chance you caught it is extremely low. How reassuring your HIV test is depends on which test was done (there are 15-20 of them in the US). Check back on both issues with the doctor or clinic where you were treated.
