Torn cartilage: The knee has cartilage or what is called the meniscus. When it wears away or tears there is instability and pain. You can use a knee brace from the pharmacy to help strengthen the knee. It also prevents swelling.
Oral pain medication like Tylenol or ibuprofen helps with the problem. An Orthopedic specialist may have additional remedies, imaging requests.
