Bug bite needs eval: Insect bites generally cause local reactions of swelling, itching, redness. Because we scratch, we can introduce skin bacteria and set up infection. Some bites, like spider, can contain poisons that kill tissue, and this can lead to serious problems. Return to your doc to make certain you are not at further risk
