Unknown: Actually bleeding from the ear usually comes from some trauma to the ear canal, or a ruptured ear drum. IT is never normal for blood to come from the ear. He should clearly have an exam of his ear and ear canal, by some health provider is used to examining ears. If an unusual finding is found, he may need to see an ENT doctor.
