Medication reaction: Plan B is high dose levoprogestin. It is expected to cause a period with accompanying nausea even vomiting. Because your period is regulated by the estrogen and progesterone in your body the amounts are off. May take a few months to get back on cycle. See a doctor for follow up exam in office. My want another type of birth control in addition to condom.

Pregnancy test: If you miss your period by 4-5 days, do a home pregnancy test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then.
