A member asked:

Hard, abnormal mass, located just below the sternum between the xiphoid process and false ribs on right side (left supine). slightly pressure sensitive, and is only visibly evident when arching back or flexing abdominal muscles. worthy of dr visit?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You must: Any mass that is abnormal(new and growing) must be checked by a physician. it may be a benign tumor but it can also be a cancerous tumor. Only physical exam by your doctor can make a diagnosis and provide a satisfactory answer. So do not sit on it too long.
