Abdominal pain etio.: It would be important to know there is tenderness with pushing on the left lower quadrant and how long this occurred and if there is fever or chills or other symptoms including gastrointestinal symptoms . How long has this occurred and has it occurred in the past .. certainly , it should be followed by your doctor require a CAT scan .. even at a young age one could develop diverticulitis or IBD.

Full pain: Gas would likely pass within a few hours. Do you have any other symptoms such as diarrhea, constipation, blood in the stool, fevers? If yes to any of these, I would suggest you get evaluated by a physician. Differentials here are irritable bowel, inflammatory bowel, constipation, and diverticulosis.
