A month ago i noticed redness that mainly spread all over my areola on left breast so i got freaked out about ibc i showed my ob and regular dr who sent me for mammo and us which were clear. the redness is not there now but blue veins are. cancer?

NO: Unless you have a strong family history of breast cancer, routine imaging with digital mammography and ultrasound should suffice. Blue veins are common, especially in full chested women or nursing women; however, may be a normal variant. Get used to breast self- examination and avoid heavy underwires or push-ups.
