Serious sting: Brown recluse spider bites can lead to very serious after effects. If indeed you were stung by a brown recluse spider you may experience progressive local necrosis or something equally bad. I would strongly advise you to ask your primary care physician to refer you to a infectious disease specialist for a second opinion very soon.
