Why check?: Checking e2 or Estradiol levels on you at age 52 are not very revealing. Typically, if you are on estrogen supplementation, all you are checking is what you are taking. Fsh levels would be more appropriate to check your menopausal status and then you would treat based on symptoms and not blood tests.
