Possible: It is possible that foot pain can come from a pinched nerve in the back. The other possible causes can include problems with the foot itself or a combination of the two. You could potentially see an orthopedic surgeon it a podiatrist to give an opinion about whether there are issues with the foot itself if you did not feel comfortable with what the neurologist was telling you.
