Hard to say: The potential causes of slow fetal growth are many and the impact often unknown until the kid grows up. If it were fetal infection the potential adverse outcome would be considered more worrisome than a simple "poor placenta" issue. I would love to give you a clear answer but in most cases we just have to wait.
