Doppler; cerebellum.: Customized fetal growth curves should be used on the basis of maternal-fetal characteristics. Early (<20 weeks) ultrasound dating of the pregnancy or use of the transcerebellar diameter (16-32 weeks) allow timely identification of at risk refuses. Doppler studies of the maternal uterine arteries and the fetal umbilical and middle cerebral arteries are also essential in assessing prognosis.
