Jaundice: Your bilirubin would have to be higher than that to cause jaundice unless it was higher a few days ago and is on its way down. The yellow staining does linger longer in the skin or whites of the eyes. This can occur if you passed a gall bladder or bile duct stone or had transient inflammation of the liver. Usually your urine would have been brownish and stool clay colored. See your physician.
