Can behavioral meds such as zoloft, (sertraline) adderall, or klonopin cause low platelets?

Clonazepam: Clonazepam can cause low platelets. Sertraline can lower platelets in less than 1% of folks. It's not a known side effect of adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine). Thanks for asking.

Depakote too: A number of psychotropic medications can cause a lowering of blood cell lines, platelets especially. One common offender is Depakote or valproic acid. Good docs will check your blood cell levels regularly if you are on medications likely to do this.
