A member asked:

I am24 & highly myopic. yesterday i noticed that a very small source of light in complete dark room seemed blur to my peripheral vision.is it normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Light adaptation in the dark consists of an increase in the number of functioning cones and a decrease in the number of functioning rods. This will cause a decrease in peripheral vision against the dark background.
