I gargled with betadine recently, and i get dark redish stringy stuff when i spit, it doesn't happen with hot water or any other liquid, can i know y?

Not sure : The betadine may be mixing with the saliva and can look brown/red. As awful as this sounds sometimes a picture of the saliva can be helpful as can a doctor examination of the mouth and throat to look for ulcers and other inflammatory conditions
