Why do you ask?: Your doctor must have told you not to drink while you're taking flagyl. It's quite dangerous. And while you're on "Cipro", both alcohol and caffeine are best avoided. They won't actually raise the level. If you failed a breathalyzer, you need both a good lawyer and an eagerness to make sure that nothing like this ever happens again. Best wishes.

Worse: You should not be taking alcohol while on such medication. Even without being on medication, alcohol is a poison that never did anybody any good, ever, stay away from it. You may consult this site for the specific issue of flagyl and alcohol: http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-7644/flagyl-oral/details/list-interaction-details/dmid-1361/dmtitle-metronidazole-tinidazole-ethyl-alcohol/intrtype-drug For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
