Widespread severe nerve pain arms and legs post 4 rounds of cipro (ciprofloxacin) and flagyl at same time as last cipro (ciprofloxacin). could this be the cause? saw fda may ban it!

Talk to your doctors: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) / Flagyl is generally a safe combo and is used frequently though 4 rounds sounds very excessive. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) can cause tendon pain and Flagyl a reaction if mixed with alcohol. Flagyl also has been associated with neuropathy but typically in short courses it is safe. May be time to talk to your doctor about whether to switch and about your severe pain.
