Need to know Hemoglo: We need to know your Hemoglobin(Hb) level. Anemia is defined as low Hb....usually less than 12 Gm/dl. So tell us your Hb value Rest of the details about the size, shape or color of Red blood cells(RBCs) is not all that important unless the Hb is lower than normal ( normal levels: 12-14 Gm/dl)

Anemia: This just means that your red blood cells are of normal appearance. If they do not state anemia, then likely no anemia.
