Diarrhea: If the diarrhea is only a few days old, it may be due to some food reaction or an intestinal tract viral infection. Both resolve in a few days with avoidance of harsh roughage, intake of adequate fluids and taking kaopectate to control diarrhea. The odor is nonspecific. If you're having chronic diarrhea, then see your physician or gastroenterologist for testing. Possible Gluten or lactose intolera
