Burps,diarrhea: Irritable bowel syndrome type symptoms with reflux. Sweet tasting burps are nonspecific and have to do with gastric contents. Treatment consists of smaller more frequent feedings, avoiding spicy,oily, and harsh roughage foods. Kaopectate or peptobismol help to relieve dyspepsia and diarrhea. Flat,room temperature ginger ale soothes nausea.
