I had mucus in my stool. when i went to push on it. i found black stringy things. they were not moving. i have ulcerative colitis. i had a colonoscopy june 9th and two weeks later i found this. i haven't seen another. worried it's a parasite. ?

Mucus: I doubt these were parasitic. Your physician or gastroenterologist can order a stool culture for pathogens including an analysis for ova and parasites.
