Go back to GYN MD: After this 2 year interval, you need to go back to a GYN MD and get your enlarged uterus assessed for size by pelvic exam or ultrasound. Uterine fibroids have a tendency to continue to grow, sometimes, rapidly which can adversely impact your desire to have future children. If it is fibroids, then they can be removed without removing the uterus preserving fertility, prior pain & bleeding symptoms.
