Yes -food supplement: There isn't any reason you could not take in a food supplement such as this. Basically you are just ingesting 'healthy' bacteria - the ones that aid in our digestion. There is alot of 'marketing' around some of these products, so I would hope you know what you're doing it for. Some foods like yogurt, cottage cheese, sauer kraut etc. are 'natural' probiotics, they just don't have the fancy label.
