A member asked:

Is it safe to take probiotics with titanium dioxide as an ingredient during pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

We don't recommend taking probiotics in immunocompromised people. Some think that pregnant women are somewhat immunocompromised but I&most physicians don't believe this&probiotics are considered quite safe during pregnancy. In my reading titanium diixoide is more controversial as high levels have been found in the maternal liver&the placenta. Because of the unknown significance I would avoid it.
